GDPR stands for General Data Protection Regulation. It is a legislation introduced by the EU, which applies from 25 May 2018 to all companies operating within the European Union. I have great sympathy for the principles behind GDPR, but they are not written for a small business like mine.
I do not need your personal information
Therefore, I do not ask you for it. If you want to subscribe to my blog (get notified about new posts or comments), you can use third-party products like Feedly. Still, visiting the blog may lead to data about you being saved. Read more below.
What personal data is collected anyway and why?
The blog is made with WordPress and uses standard add-ons that most likely will put cookies on your computer that store certain information such as your IP address, the type of computer you use, your browser, which pages you have visited, how long you have been on each page, and which links you clicked.
It’s also Disqus that notifies me if something looks like SPAM and filters it.
Embedded content from other sites
Articles on the blog may contain embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in exactly the same way as if you had visited the other site.
I have no contact forms on the website, but feel free to send me an email.
